For the people who keep questioning why Christians eat things forbidden in the OT, please read to understand?
why. Genesis 9:3 says every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for you. As in the case of green vegetation, I do give it all to you. (This is before the nation of Israel). 1 Timothy 4:1,3-5 says all foods are good and to be partaken of as long as you give thankgiving over it for it is sanctified through God's word and prayer over it. (Christian era). Some foods were forbidden to the Israelites as given in the Law through Moses as they were a holy nation of God, to teach them they were sinful and in need of the Messiah, it was to prepare them for Jesus Christ's arrival. So as you can see, Gentiles and Christians were never under the Mossaic Law. Only the Israelites Do you understand now?
