Why do Mexican dudes think their pitbulls can kill anything?

I have literally heard it all, my pit bull would beat a, timber wolf, mountain lion, wolverine, any type of dog of course... Utterly no proof or facts to back it up, just cuz they watch one deformed mutt beat the shiz out of another doesn't make it satans gift to the reaper..... Anyways just curious so tired of hearing "a good peet bewl would kill a timber wolf fool their game". Despite a timber wolf having a bite nearly 7 times stronger, a larger brain, being far more dexterous, well I wont get into it all but they are a superior animal... and fight every single day of their life..... I can't comprehend the logic behind this.
