I have one black moor goldfish in an 80 litre tank. Is this sufficient space for me to get him a companion?

You would be fine to get him a friend at the moment as long as he is still not fully grown but you would have to be prepared to get a larger tank as soon as they get bigger. You can then ask your fish store for advise but what size you would need for the 2 fully grown fish :)
