Is this fascinating or what?
I was an adult in 1969 and had occasion to interact with a lot of teachers. I can state unequivocally that most of them considered themselves to the left of the political spectrum. It was fashionable to be a lefty at that time. I wonder if this was taken into account by the Blocks when considering the ratings given the children? I would also disagree completely with the strong implication that respect for tradition and authority is a sign of insecurity and weakness. I am a conservative and I did not suffer any of the problems attributed to the 3 year olds who grew up to become conservatives. IMO, psychology as a science is on a par with astrology.
