Is there a way to use my computer as a Wifi hotspot?

I have a desktop computer with a good built in wireless card so it picks up a good signal. My Playstation however has poor wireless so it is constantly going out. I was wondering if there was a way to use my computer as a hotspot so that it will pick up the internet from the wireless router and my playstation will pick internet up from my computer? I would really rather not have to plug it in directly since the wireless router is several rooms away. Thanks!!
