How do i know if he wants to get back?

He texts me sayin he loves me he will always be there when i want to talk, he randomly comes to my college to see me and like tries to get touchy, he tries callin(got less cuz i dont answer). I just dont know if we shud get back, its nto that we have no feeligns we love eacother. I think I just cant get over the past which really ruined our relationship. I kind of want to be with him again, how do i do this without sounding unattractive to him?
