What are some materials i would need to make homemade christmas/thanksgiving cards?

I need to know so i can go out and buy the materials and i also need ideas of what i should make for them like turkeys or snowmen or angels or santa or something. But they have to be very special also. And if you know any websites i can go on to get ideas i would love that. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE and cheers.
