How do you know if being in a relationship is right or not? I need some guidance?

You know yourself and you know you're not happy. Don't try and fit a square peg into a round hole. If you're not happy and content within your relationship, you shouldn't be together for your own sake. It's probably going to be hard on him but it's nothing compared to the years of heartache you're potentially getting yourself into if you stay.
