Is it possible to lose your ability to read needs a professionals opinion?

you see i have this problem every time i read i say other words instead of whats written on the page this has nag me whole lot and has stop me from doing things i like for instance reading the bible i also want to know can you be dyslexic when your an adult although you been a good reader all of your adolescent years then all of sudden you have dyslexia please i really need help
