What is my horse worth?

The sale of a horse also depends on the desires of the buyer. If you do happen to find a buyer wanting all those exact talents you can ask for more, just remember to be negotiable. I fretted over selling a horse for $400.00 and asked the opinion of YA! I was told to go higher. The man wanting him for his granddaughter came and brought the girl's uncle to check him out. The uncle really dogged the little fellow, and it was a no sale. I raised the price to $600.00 and the next lady bought him as a yard ornament and pasture mate for her other horse and gladly gave the $600.00 for him! The key is to be negotiable, and honest. Try to find your horse the best home possible, and understand the buyer. Good luck, Linda
