What's a new, better term for 'tree hugger', one that people who care will want to ociate with?

What's a good new term for caring for our environment, since people feel so negatively about the term 'tree hugger'? For me, tree hugging is going to be essential as we grapple with environmental disaster and global warming in the near future. To denigrate that term separates us farther, in our minds, from solutions because we become embarred to admit we might care. Or we stop ourselves from caring so that we aren't ociated with something like 'tree hugger'.
