BV or yeast infection?

About 5 days ago I had a cloudy clear l discharge with a smell, so I treated myself with a prescription called metro-gel 5 days insert lly. After day 4, I'm feeling extreme itchiness & sore with cloudy discharge, it's not clumpy or cottage cheese. There is no odor. What happened? Is it a yeast infection now?
